Crafting with Kids Mod Podge Melts!

I love doing projects with my kiddos..
and  Mod Podge Melts were a perfect project to do with them.
**With lots of supervision of course, cause that glue gun is HOT!**
So we started by heating up the glue gun and melting the glue into the molds.
Then we had tons of them!
So the kids got busy painting picture frames,
then their Mod Podge shapes
to create a gift for
their teachers!
My lovely little lady created all of these beautiful frames for her teachers!
~A different one for each teacher~
(no picture of her as we were rushing out the door as usual!)
The kids were soo excited as they each created different works of art!
What have you created with your kiddos lately?

Kindergarten Teacher Gift

It's Official...
we are done with school here in NJ!
And I now am the proud owner of a 6th grader, a 3rd grader and a *sniff sniff* 1st grader!
So here is my short and happy post to share what we made for my little boys Kindergarten teacher!
I had some help from my 13 Kindergarten friends, who each created a super  special flower, then I added their cute faces and a big green bow!
Then I took 3 stackable paper mache boxes,
flipped them upside down and put holes in them to hold the dowels.
Then I Mod Podged green polka dot scrapbook paper to the front.
Then I used my Cricut and Pick Your Plum Vinyl and transfer paper to add the words:
Last I wrapped it in cello and tied it with a bow.
Cheers to a great summer!

Mod Podge Happy Birthday Tray!

Someone in my house is celebrating her summer birthday in school today in style with this cute
Mod Podge Birthday Tray!
So simple and easy to do..
Ingredients
Tray
Mod Podge
Scrapbook paper
Scissors
I grabbed my tray and measured the paper to fit.
Next I poured some Mod Podge into the bottom of the tray and placed the paper over the top.
I squished out all of my little air bubbles with an old gift card and then wiped away the excess.
Next I cut out cute pennants and doilies from my paper
 and Mod Podged again.
Then I added some silly things
to the sides.
Then we packed it with goodies and sent her with her merry tray!
